Dr. Avulu Vinod Kumar is currently pursuing his postdoctoral research at the Experimental Quantum Biosensing Laboratory in Prof. Mouzhe Xie's research group at Arizona State University, Tempe Campus, Tempe, Arizona, USA. 

His current research interests are aimed at improving the sensitivity of NV-diamond based quantum measurements leveraging the material chemistry and nanotechnology principles.

Previously, he worked on the fabrication of flexible organic crystal-based photonic components and circuits under the guidance of Prof. Rajadurai Chandrasekar at the University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad, India.
